LifeClip ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the LifeClip mobile application (the "Application").

By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture & Encryption

LifeClip operates under a Zero-Knowledge Architecture.

• Local Encryption: Any sensitive information you input (such as passwords, credit card details, notes, and file attachments) is encrypted locally on your device using military-grade AES-256 encryption BEFORE it is stored or synced.
• No Access to Keys: The cryptographic keys used to encrypt your data are stored strictly on your device's hardware-backed Secure Keystore/Keychain. We do not have access to your keys, and we can never decrypt or access your personal safe records under any circumstances.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal amount of data necessary to provide and sync your vault features:

A. User Account Information (Voluntary Cloud Sync)

If you choose to enable the E2EE Cloud Sync feature:

• Account Credentials: We collect your email address and password to create and authenticate your personal Firebase sync vault.
• Encrypted Vault Records: We upload your locally encrypted database records (ciphertext) to your private Firebase Firestore bucket. Because this data is encrypted on your device, we cannot read the contents of your synced notes, passwords, or attachments.

B. Subscription Billing Information

Paid subscriptions are processed directly through the Google Play Store billing systems. We do not collect or store credit card numbers or billing details. We only receive a transaction confirmation token from Google to unlock premium features.

3. Data Safety & Sharing

• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
• No Advertising: The Application contains no third-party advertisements or trackers.
• No Analytics Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs to track your usage history or behavior.

4. Data Deletion

• Local Data: You can delete all your database records at any time by selecting the "Wipe Database" option in the Application's settings.
• Cloud Data: If you wish to delete your Firebase account and synced backup records, you can request account deletion by contacting us at the support email provided below.

5. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the applicable age of consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
